SUBJECT: Additional Income for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Recipients Living in Long Term Care (LTC) Facilities
Effective July 2007 - individuals who reside in a LTC facility and receive SSI as their only income are eligible for an additional $15 monthly supplement for their personal needs.
Current SSI recipients residing in a LTC facility, beginning July 2007, will receive a $15 monthly supplement from the state to provide them with additional funds for their personal needs.
