Increase your awareness of the different approaches for group advocacy and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Also understand the factors that need to be considered in deciding which advocacy approach to take.
Lunch Available noon - 1pm
Advocacy with State and Local Government
1pm - 3pm
Understand the organizational structure and decision-making stages of state and local government. Also understand what information and approaches are important in trying to influence policy makers.
