The Pennsylvania Training Partnership for People with Disabilities and Families: Long Term Planning for Your Family Member
The Pennsylvania Training Partnership for People with Disabilities and Families: Long Term Planning for Your Family Member
In this training, we cover different types of trusts that can be used to meet the needs of a person with a long-term disability. Estate planning helps ensure a person has financial resources to meet his/her special needs beyond the capacity of her/his guardian or parent to provide care, or after the death of the guardian or parent. We discuss how resources can be arranged to protect an individual's access to his/her needed government benefits.
