What Features Are In The New Housing Trust Fund?
During this call Sheila will present the details of the recently passed law creating a Housing Trust Fund. Sheila will explain not only what is in the new program, but also what is not in it (such as features from earlier stand-alone bills in the House and Senate).

Sheila will also lay out some of the important work that lies ahead for all of us in the coming months. For instance:
We must work with HUD to ensure that the regulations that it proposes will implement the Housing Trust Fund in a manner consistent with the National Housing Trust Fund Campaign's principles.
It will be important for advocates at the state level to ensure that their governors assign the most appropriate state agency to carry out the Housing Trust Fund.
It will be crucial for advocates at the state level to be involved in shaping the required state Allocation Plans.
We must identify and secure additional dedicated sources of revenue.
