Now Available: Factsheet on Pennsylvania's Autism Insurance Law

August 26th, 2009

The Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania has prepared a fact sheet on Pennsylvania's autism insurance law (sometimes referred to as "Act 62"). The fact sheet provides information on a number of topics, including who is covered under the law; what services insurance companies are required to provide; and what you can do if your child is denied autism-related services by your insurance company.

The fact sheet can be found on publications page of the DRN web site using this link:

If your insurance company has denied coverage, your child has been denied services or had services reduced, or if you have any other questions about the autism insurance law, please feel free to contact DRN's Intake Unit at 1-800-692-7443.
