The Pennsylvania Supported Education Network (Pa SEN): Free, One-day Training session in Several Pennsylvania Locations

The session will provide training on ways to help people with disabilities obtain - and succeed in - post-secondary education, career training, and competitive employment. The free, innovative full day training "A Practical Guide to Using Community Resources to Get People with Disabilities To and Through College" will be offered statewide by Pa SEN. See attached brochure and driving directions. The session will be offered in the Philadelphia area as "Guiding People Down the Path to Education & Employment: A Roadmap for Providers of Disabilities Services". See attached brochure and driving directions. The attached brochures include registration information as well. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

The session will be offered at several locations in Pennsylvania in the coming weeks. There is no fee for the full day of training. Early application is encouraged. Seating is limited. Registration is required. Click on the "brochures" above.

Learn how at the Pa SEN FREE innovative training. Learn specific techniques to help individuals with disabilities move to post-secondary schools that will lead them to careers beyond entry level. During the session, participants will learn the basics of implementing a successful supported education program with limited resources, including utilizing active and passive supports to help your consumers be successful. Participants in this hands-on training will receive a resource guide to post-secondary schools, which includes a list of area contacts!
