April 26, 2011 - Brain Injury Rally in Harrisburg, PA
From the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania, Inc. --Help Pennsylvania Meet the Challenge of Brain Injury: COME TO HARRISBURG FOR A RALLY IN THE ROTUNDA!
The purpose is to support Brain Injury Initiatives in Pennsylvania by asking Pennsylvania legislators to:
• Pass the Safety in Sports Act
• Insure funding for Community Based Programs
• Create an Advisory Board in statute
• Implement brain injury screening of persons in state programs or facilities
WHEN: Tuesday, April 26, 2011, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
WHERE: Harrisburg Capitol Building, Main Rotunda
After the rally, members of the Brain Injury Coalition will be leading groups of people interested in visiting legislative offices to distribute materials on each of the four requests.
