Chava Kintisch is a staff attorney and the Assistive Technology Project Director of the Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania (DRN), where she has practiced in the areas of assistive technology, Medical Assistance, home and community-based services, and civil rights for persons with disabilities since 2004. Ms. Kintisch also lectures for medical professionals and provides presentations for persons with disabilities, family members, advocates, and professional groups regarding assistive technology and Medical Assistance. In addition, she currently serves on the Advisory Council for Pennsylvania's Initiative on Assistive Technology.
Prior to DRN, Ms. Kintisch worked on special education matters at the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia and on housing discrimination matters at Liberty Resources, Inc., on behalf of persons with disabilities. Ms. Kintisch previously represented low-income individuals in Georgia to obtain public benefits, health care, and relief from discrimination. She also represented individuals at a state hospital in Georgia to secure discharge into the community with appropriate services and supports.
Ms. Kintisch received her B.A. summa cum laude from Central Michigan University and her J.D. with distinction from Emory University School of Law.
