Advocate at Ebensburg Center

The Disability Rights Network of PA, formerly PP&A, Inc., a statewide, non-profit that advocates for persons with disabilities, is seeking a full-time employee to work at Ebensburg Center advocating for residents in Ebensburg center.

Applicants should have a combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree and experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Applicants must have a good working knowledge of Pennsylvania's service system for persons with intellectual disabilities. A commitment to the full inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of community life is essential. Applicants should have good communications skills and the ability to represent the interests of this stakeholder group in meetings with teams, service providers, and government administrators. Applicants should have the ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
