Robert Meek

Managing Attorney

Robert Meek is the Managing Attorney of the Philadelphia office of the Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania where he has practiced exclusively in civil rights matters on behalf of persons with disabilities since 1990.

He received his B.S. degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1971 and his M.A. degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. He received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1978.

From 1978 to 1988, he was a staff attorney in two legal services programs in Pennsylvania and New Jersey where he specialized in disability and housing litigation. From 1988 to 1990, he was managing attorney of the Institutional and Community Services Unit, Division of Advocacy for the Developmentally Disabled, New Jersey Department of the Public Advocate where he represented individuals with developmental disabilities.
