FREE ADVOCACY WORKSHOPS
Special Education 101 10 am – 12pm
Receive basic training on special education laws and advocacy techniques for children with disabilities in school. Learn how to develop an appropriate education program and how to resolve any disputes over services, supports, or placement.
Transition Planning for Youth to Adult Age 1pm – 3pm
Receive training on how older youth can plan for life after high school. Learn what should be included in an IEP and about more resources and information that can help students prepare for transition to adulthood.
